All you need is a computer and a webcam and you’re just a few steps away from your first interactive race: switch on your webcam, choose your favorite character, individualize it with your own photo, pick a Formula 1, Nascar or Rallye race car and your personal avatar is waiting on the starting grid!

The innovative face tracking is recognizing the user´s mimic and head movement. And this is how you play the game:
- launching a turboboost via blinking
- steering by tilting your head
- and activate certain specials (monster tires, glue, wings etc.) by smiling.
Another feature that brings big laugh in front of the computer and on Facebook are the photo bonus. They begin as soon as you hit one of the cameras floating above the race track, rewarding the gamer who most accurately reproduces the gesture shown. These grimace-photos are stored in your Red Bull Formula Face account and can be shared on Facebook.
The game is is closely tied in to social networking, as you can post your highscore on Facebook, challenge friends, share your grimace pictures and get all the news from your network by a Facebook-gameticker integrated on the website.
Another highlight in the game is the possibility to download a pdf of your paperfoldable avatar and get your handcrafted racer on your desk, as the whole game is made in a paper style design.
