Old Spice: The end of the world!

As we all know, unfortunately we have just a few weeks left until the end of the world. Axe started already early with a Final Edition set and a campaign about this topic. Here is the spot. I am sure some more will come up soon.
Another new and very funny example is the 8-bit game for Old Spice. “Dikembe Mutombo’s 4 1/2 Weeks to Save the World”, that´s the game´s name, is made by W+K. Watch the trailer here.

And please try the microsite! The guys from W+K have again shown a great sense of humor.

I am excited to see what other brands will do regarding the end of the world. Media will hype this topic anyway, so I am sure there is great stuff in development right now.

Another great world record attempt by Hot Wheels: Two real cars driving a vertical loop people normally know from the brand´s toy looping set. Succesfully executed at the X Games in L.A. A new Guinness world record.

Last year Hot Wheels already set the record for the longest jump. Seen at the Indy 500.

I like this campaign very much. Making stuff only toys can do – normally – is generating big pictures, lot´s of free media and you can´t get any closer to the product. Great story telling from the guys at Mistress. Via.
